Although litigation is never the first option that we generally recommend to our clients, sometimes, the unreasonableness or the lack of responsiveness by another party to overtures of negotiation, settlement or dispute resolution are ignored, and litigation is required. The attorneys of Shipley, Horne & Hewlett, P.A. have years of experience in court related litigation that range from handling Capital Offense cases before the Court of Appeals, to handling a matter in Small Claims Court. The attorneys are extremely adept in handling cases in any of these forums. Respected by the members of the State and Federal Courts, two of our partners serve as Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinators for the District Court of Maryland and attorneys in the firm serve as judicial alter egos at the specific request of several judges, so that any dispute or concerns raised about a judge's action in a court case, can be delivered by attorneys in that case, to our specifically appointed attorneys to relay to the judge without the reporting attorney being concerned of judicial repercussions.
